Boston Red Sox Sign Pitcher
The Boston Red Sox have signed Norwith Gudino to a minor league contract.
Gudino spent this past season with Triple-A Sacramento, where he sported a 3-5 record to go along with a rather high 8.87 ERA. Truthfully, it was not a year to remember for the 6-foot-2 righty, but he will be hoping for that to change with the Red Sox organization from here.
Boston has assigned Gudino to Triple-A Worcester, but if he impresses at Spring Training, perhaps it could lead to his contract being selected and for him to land a chance to play with Boston. Nevertheless, time will tell on that front, but Boston has improved their pitching depth at a minimum with this signing.
