Baltimore Orioles Sign Pitcher

The Baltimore Orioles are continuing to make moves, as they have now inked Kyle Gibson to a one-year contract.

After an All-Star campaign split between the Texas Rangers and Philadelphia Phillies in 2021, Gibson took a step back in 2022. In 31 starts for the Fighting Phils, he sported a 10-8 record, but his 5.05 ERA shows that he had troubles. As a result, he will be hoping to be more consistent with the Orioles from here.

Baltimore has made it known that they are looking to beef up their rotation, so it is not too surprising that they have signed Gibson. Although he is likely to be near the bottom half of their rotation, it will be intriguing to see if the Greenfield native can turn things back around in 2023.
