Baltimore Orioles Sign Infielder
Josh Lester has found a new home, as the 6-foot-3 third baseman has inked a minor league pact with the Baltimore Orioles.
Lester's tenure with the Detroit Tigers organization came to a close after the AL Central club decided to part ways with him. Now, he is getting a fresh start with the Orioles and will be hoping to make their Opening Day roster. Yet, for that to have any chance of coming to fruition, he will need to impress during Spring Training.
Lester has shown wonderful power numbers in the minors, and that carried over in 2022 with Triple-A Toledo. In 145 games on the year, he had 29 home runs, 99 RBIs, and a .246 batting average. Let's see if he can be a home run threat in Baltimore from here.
