Baltimore Orioles Outfielder Clears Waivers

Baltimore Orioles outfielder Daz Cameron has cleared waivers. As a result, he has now been outrighted to Triple-A Norfolk.

The Orioles claimed Cameron off of waivers from the Detroit Tigers earlier this offseason. Thankfully for the Orioles, the 26-year-old ended up clearing this time around.

Cameron will now serve as a depth option for them in 2023. He has made appearances at the major league level over each of the last three seasons, so it seems possible that we could see him called up to the majors this upcoming campaign when injuries arise. In 73 career MLB games, he has five home runs, 24 RBIs, and a .201 batting average.
