Arizona Diamondbacks Sign Pitcher
The Arizona Diamondbacks have signed Zach McAllister to a minor league contract.
McAllister has not pitched in the majors since the 2018 season when he split time between the Cleveland Guardians and Detroit Tigers. During that campaign, he put together a 1-2 record to go along with a 6.20 ERA in 44 games. Overall, it was a rough year for him, but now he will be aiming for the chance of redemption as a Diamondback in 2023.
At worst, Arizona has simply added to their pitching depth with this move. However, we will have to wait and see if McAllister can get back into the majors for the first time in five years from here.
