Arizona Diamondbacks Sign Pitcher

The Arizona Diamondbacks have signed Austin Brice to a minor league contract. 

Brice appeared in four major league games this past season with the Pittsburgh Pirates, where he had a 0-0 record and a 4.05 ERA. Overall, he had mixed results in his limited MLB appearances in 2022, but he will be aiming to change that with the Diamondbacks in 2023.

At worst, Brice will be a call-up option for the Diamondbacks, but we should not rule out the possibility of him making the major league roster out of Spring Training. After all, he has 144 games of MLB experience and has made appearances in the majors in each of the last seven years. Let's see if he can change that to eight from here.
