Arizona Diamondbacks Outright Pitcher

Tyler Gilbert has been outrighted to Triple-A by the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Gilbert was designated for assignment last week but has since cleared waivers. As a result, the Diamondbacks were now able to send him to Triple-A, and he will remain a part of their pitching depth because of it. 

Gilbert appeared in eight games for the Diamondbacks this past season, where he had a 0-3 record to go along with a 5.24 ERA. Overall, it was not an amazing year for him when called upon, but let's see if he can earn himself a call-up to Arizona again at some point this upcoming season.
