Angels Sign Pitcher
Joining the Los Angeles Angels.
The Angels have signed pitcher Justin Garza to a one-year contract.
The contract is a split one that carries differing salaries depending on whether he is in the majors or the minor-leagues.

Garza spent the entire 2022 season with the Cleveland Guardians Triple-A affiliate, recording a 4.64 ERA and 50 strikeouts over 42.2 innings of work.
The twenty-eight-year-old has pitched just 28.2 innings in the MLB, recording a 4.71 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 29 strikeouts. He features a sinker, cutter, changeup and slider.
Garza is a former eighth-round pick by Cleveland in the 2015 MLB Draft.
