10-Year MLB Veteran Signs In KBO
Headed to Korea.
10-year MLB veteran Abraham Almonte has signed a one-year contract with the LG Twins of the Korea Baseball Organization.

Almonte gets a $100,000 signing bonus, $400,000 in base salary, and has the ability to earn up to $300,000 in performance-based incentives.
This past season, the thirty-three-year-old posted a .257/.297/.400 triple slash line, with one home run over 15 games with the Boston Red Sox.
For his career, Almonte holds a .235/.302/.374 slash line, with 24 home runs, 118 RBIs, 27 stolen bases and 168 runs scored across 455 games played.
