Top 3 Free Agent Second Basemen
But for the purposes of our positional free agent lists, we'll just stick to strictly second basemen that are available on the market this winter. And by that criteria, the pickings are somewhat slim. Here, nevertheless, are the top three.
Jean Segura
The former shortstop has made the full-time transition to 2B the last couple of years, but the Philadelphia Phillies, as expected, did not pick up the club's $17M option, making him a free agent. He's been able to maintain a pretty decent batting average with a modicum of power the past few years. In four seasons in Philly, he's batted .281 with a .755 OPS. His speed has dissipated over the years and he'll be going into his age-33 season.

Aledmys Diaz
The super utilityman is on the open market this season, and it's a bit of a stretch to consider him a second baseman, although he has played it on pretty much equal terms with other positions over the last three seasons in Houston. But on a full-time basis, there's no telling if it'll work.
He is an offensive plus, however, and would likely be able to produce wherever he plays on the diamond.
Jurickson Profar is a free agent, but it appears that the ship has sailed on him playing any more second base in the majors on a regular basis. He simply wasn't comfortable there when he played it full-time in 2019. He's now mostly considered an outfielder.
Kolten Wong was on this list, but the Milwaukee Brewers have unexpectedly picked up his $10M option.
