Seattle Mariners Sign Pitcher

The Seattle Mariners have signed Jose Rodriguez to a minor league contract. 

Rodriguez appeared in five games with the Syracuse Mets last season, where he had a 2-3 record and a 4.95 ERA in 29 games. Overall, it was a year of mixed results for the 6-foot-2 righty, so he will be hoping for a bit more consistency in 2023.

Rodriguez has 10 games of MLB experience on his resume and has not appeared in a major league game since 2020 when he was with the Los Angeles Angels. During them, he has put together a 0-1 record and 2.53 ERA. Let's see if he gets the opportunity to help change those career stats with Seattle this year.
