San Diego Padres Sign Pitcher

The San Diego Padres have signed Bobby Milacki to a minor league deal.

Milacki is a prospect who is coming off of a strong season in Single-A+, and he will now be aiming to continue that in 2023. In 38 appearances, the 6-foot-2 righty put together a 6-1 record to go along with a 2.83 ERA. After a year like this, he certainly should receive some call-ups to higher levels in the minor leagues.

With this move, the Padres have added to their pitching depth, and that is always positive. Let's see if Milacki can continue to head in the right direction and maybe even receive a major league call-up.
