Rangers Top Prospect Has Elbow Surgery
He's the Texas Rangers' 11th-ranked prospect.
Prospect outfielder Aaron Zavala required surgery for a torn UCL in his elbow.
Zavala, who was playing in the Arizona Fall League, underwent a successful brace procedure by Dr. Keith Meister last week. Thankfully, Zavala didn't require the dreaded Tommy John surgery, however, he's still expected to be out until around May or June of next season.
