Phillies Claim Two Pitchers Off Waivers
The Philadelphia Phillies have snagged two pitchers off of waivers from the San Francisco Giants.
The Phillies claimed pitcher Andrew Vasquez off waivers from the Giants.
Vasquez had an ugly 7.04 ERA in 22 appearances during his time with the Giants' organization.
Over his four-year career, the twenty-nine-year-old has made just 22 appearances, holding a 7.04 ERA.

The Phillies have also claimed pitcher Luis Ortiz off waivers from the Giants.
Ortiz is a former first-round pick who has seen his share of teams as of late, just like Vasquez. The twenty-seven-year-old holds a 5.65 ERA over nine career major league appearances and, likely, will be nothing more than organizational depth.
