Phillies Announce Win-Or-Go-Home Game 6 Starter
The Philadelphia Phillies have dropped two straight and are now on the ropes heading into Game 6 of the World Series against the Houston Astros.
Rob Thomson and the Phillies will turn to Zack Wheeler for the start in Game 6 on Saturday in Houston.
Wheeler pitched in Game 2 of the World Series, where he saw a sharp dip in his velocity and ended up allowing five runs (four earned) over five innings of work.
I have no choice but to put all my faith in Zack Wheeler to send this to a game 7

Are the Phillies making the right call holding out Zack Wheeler for Game 6?

However, Wheeler is obviously the best option the Phillies have right now, and is a prime bounce-back candidate in what may be the biggest start of his career.
The thirty-two-year-old had a fantastic season, posting a 2.82 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, and 163 strikeouts over 153 innings and 26 starts. He held a 12-7 record.
It's do-or-die on Saturday and it will be a must-watch game in what will be a loud atmosphere in Houston.
