Oakland Athletics Pitcher Clears Waivers

Oakland Athletics pitcher Daulton Jefferies has cleared waivers and now has been outrighted to Triple-A Las Vegas.

Jefferies is currently recovering from both thoracic outlet surgery (June) and Tommy John surgery (September), so it is not surprising at all that no other team claimed him off waivers. He will miss the entirety of the 2023 season due to them, and it will be a long process for him to get his career restarted from here. However, at 27 years old, he has time.

Jefferies made eight starts for the A's this season, where he sported a 1-7 record to go along with a 5.72 ERA.
