Oakland A's Pitcher Elects Free Agency

Instead of accepting an outright assignment by the Oakland A's, Austin Pruitt has elected to become a free agent. 

Pruitt appeared in 39 games with the A's this season, where he had a 0-1 record to go along with a 4.23 ERA. Overall, it is fair to say that he did have some struggles, but even with this being the case, he should be able to find a home this offseason. This is especially true when noting that most teams need help with their bullpens. 

In 112 career games split between the Tampa Bay Rays, Houston Astros, Miami Marlins, and A's, Pruitt has a 12-10 record to go along with a 4.70 ERA. Let's see how much he can improve upon these stats in 2023 from here.
