MLB Rumors: Toronto Blue Jays Linked to Pitcher

According to Ben Nicholson-Smith, the Toronto Blue Jays are interested in signing Andrew Heaney.

The Blue Jays are not the first team linked to Heaney, and they certainly will not be the last. The 6-foot-2 lefty is coming off of a wonderful bounce-back season, and it has heightened his value significantly. In 16 appearances, he put together a 4-4 record to go along with a 3.10 ERA. When healthy, he performed quite well, and it's naturally leading to interest.

With the Blue Jays having World Series aspirations, it makes sense that they are aiming to improve their rotation - among other things. We will have to wait and see if they end up winning the Heaney sweepstakes from here.
