MLB Rumors: Justin Verlander Linked to 3 Teams

According to Ken Rosenthal, free-agent pitcher Justin Verlanders sees a chance for "lucrative opportunities" with the New York Yankees, New York Mets, and Los Angeles Dodgers.

Verlander is set to make another monstrous payday after putting together a ridiculously dominant campaign. In his age-39 season, Verlander had an 18-4 record to go along with a very low 1.75 ERA. Needless to say, the future Hall of Famer is going to get offers from several teams, and these three are surely in the mix.

With the Yankees, Mets, and Dodgers all having World Series aspirations, it would be huge if any of them convinced him to sign with them. However, we should not rule out the Astros, either.
