Miami Marlins Sign Pitcher
Geoff Hartlieb has found a new home, as the 6-foot-5 righty has inked a minor league deal with the Miami Marlins.
Hartlieb spent this past season with Triple-A Worcester, where he had a 3-6 record to go along with a 5.16 ERA in 40 games. Overall, it is fair to say that he had mixed results when called upon, but he will be aiming to find more consistency with the Marlins organization from here.
Hartlieb is likely to begin his time with the Marlins in Triple-A, but if he impresses, perhaps it could lead to his contract being selected as the 2023 campaign continues. In 57 career MLB games, the 28-year-old has a 1-1 record and 7.46a ERA.
