He was one of the best relievers in the 2021 season.

Sadler was arguably one of the best relievers of the 2021 season, registering a pristine 0.67 ERA, 0.72 WHIP, and 37 strikeouts over 40.1 innings with the Mariners.
Surprisingly, Sadler went unclaimed by the other 29 teams in the MLB when the Mariners put him on waivers earlier this week.
The most likely reason for his going unclaimed on waivers is because of his health, as the Sadler missed this entire past season after undergoing shoulder surgery last March. It's not yet clear if the thirty-two-year-old will be back to full strength by the start of spring training, and he will likely need to hold a throwing showcase to tempt any team into bringing him on for the 2023 season and beyond.
If Sadler can regain even a little bit of his 2021 season form, he will be a massive addition to any team.
