Los Angeles Angels & Milwaukee Brewers Complete Trade
The Los Angeles Angels have added more power to their lineup, as they have acquired Hunter Renfroe from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for Janson Junk, Adam Seminaris, and Elvis Peguero.
This is the third notable addition that the Angels have made this offseason already, as they of course signed Tyler Anderson and acquired Gio Urshela from the Minnesota Twins. Now, they have added an excellent power hitter and strong fielder in Renfroe. In 125 games this season with the Brewers, the 30-year-old had 29 home runs, 72 RBIs, and a .255 batting average.
Junk appeared in three games for the Angels this season, where he had a 1-1 record and a 6.48 ERA. He will be aiming to land himself a spot at the bottom of Milwaukee's rotation.
Seminaris split this season between Single-A+, Double-A, and Triple-A, where he had a 7-11 record and 3.54 ERA in 24 appearances.
Peguero, on the other hand, played in a career-high 13 games with the Angels, sporting a 0-0 record and 6.75 ERA.
