Colorado Rockies Sign Pitcher to Extension
The Colorado Rockies have signed Tyler Kinley to a three-year, $6.25 million contract extension. It also comes with a $5 million club option.
Kinley was simply excellent for the Rockies in 2022, so it makes sense that Colorado has decided to sign him to a multi-year deal. In 25 games on the year, the five-year veteran put together a 1-1 record and extremely low 0.75 ERA. Now, he will be aiming to do even better in 2023 and onward with this sweet new contract.
Kinley will miss the beginning of next season due to surgery, but once he is back, all Rockie fans will be watching him closely.
