Chicago White Sox Sign Pitcher
The Chicago White Sox have signed Mike Clevinger, according to Ken Rosenthal.
Clevinger has been linked to the White this offseason, so it is not all that surprising to see that the righty is now officially heading there. He will provide the White Sox with another solid weapon in their rotation as they aim to bounce back from a rather disappointing 2022 season.
In 23 games this season with the Padres, Clevinger put together a 7-7 record to go along with a 4.33 ERA. Overall, it was a year of mixed results for him, but that was expected given his injury trouble from 2020 to 2021. Alas, we will now have to wait and see how he performs with the White Sox from here.
