Chicago White Sox Pitcher Elects Free Agency
Kyle Crick's time with the Chicago White Sox is over, as he has rejected their outright assignment and has instead elected to become a free agent.
Crick appeared in 14 games this past season with Chicago, where he had a 2-0 record and a 4.02 ERA. Overall, it was a year of mixed results for him in 2022, but given his past success, there should still be a market for him as he hits free agency.
In 194 career games split between the San Francisco Giants, Pittsburgh Pirates, and White Sox, Crick sports a 9-11 record to go along with a 3.56 ERA. Teams in need of some pitching depth should surely take a chance on him from here.
