Cardinals Outright 2 Players
The St. Louis Cardinals have outrighted Kramer Robertson and Kodi Whitley.
It's a little surprising to see that Robertson cleared waivers this time around, as he was claimed multiple times throughout this season. Although he began the year with St. Louis, the Atlanta Braves and New York Mets both claimed him during the year before the Cardinals brought him back in the same manner. In two games with the Cardinals this season, he went 0-for-1 at the plate but recorded an RBI.
Whitley, on the other hand, appeared in 14 games with the Cardinals this season, During them, he sported a 2-0 record but also a fairly high 5.68 ERA. He will be aiming to impress at Spring Training to help his chances of regaining a spot on their 40-man roster.
