“Let’s put it this way: I am doing my part as a loyal Red Sox fan," said Curry. Not sure if that's exactly the way the Giants wanted it to come out, but hey, they'll take all the help they can get.

"As part of their pitch, the Giants put Judge in touch with Steph Curry's camp, hopeful that the two superstars could connect as Judge weighs his decision, sources told NBC Sports Bay Area," said NBC Sports's Alex Pavlovic.
Now another, slightly more vintage variety Warriors legend, Chris Mullin, has thrown his hat in the ring for the Giants.
Warriors Legend Chris Mullin: "Listen it's time to come to the Bay Area Aaron Judge. All rise! Let's go. Oracle Park is a beautiful place to play. You're going to win championships here. Just look at what Steph Curry's doing here. The Bay Area is a forgiving place. . ."

Mullin: "You put up a career year. You hit 62 home runs, and they're giving you the Bronx cheer in the playoffs. Time to go man. Come back home."

"Listen it's time to come to the Bay Area, Aaron Judge. All rise! Let's go. Oracle Park is a beautiful place to play. You're going to win championships here. Just look at what Steph Curry's doing here. The Bay Area is a forgiving place," said Mullin, who was a 5-time All-Star for the Warriors in the 1980s and '90s. "You put up a career year. You hit 62 home runs, and they're giving you the Bronx cheer in the playoffs. Time to go man. Come back home."
The irony of that, of course, is that Mullin is a native New Yorker. Born in NYC, went to college at St. John's. He's obviously a Bay Area guy now. And he's hoping Aaron Judge will join him and come back home.
