Atlanta Braves Release Veteran Pitcher
The Atlanta Braves have released Brad Brach. As a result the 6-foot-6 righty is a free agent.
Brach inked a minor league deal with the Braves last offseason, but it, unfortunately, did not result in him landing a call-up at all. The veteran appeared in 21 games for Triple-A Gwinnett instead, where he had a 3-1 record to go along with a 4.88 ERA.
Due to his plethora of MLB experience, we could see Brach land another minor league deal elsewhere this offseason. In 531 career games, the one-time All-Star has a 38-29 record and 3.55 ERA. We will have to wait and see if he has the chance to improve upon these career stats in 2023.
