Athletics Infielder To Sign In Japan
He's joining Jeremy Beasley.
Oakland Athletics infielder Sheldon Neuse is expected to sign with the Hanshin Tigers in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball.
The Hanshin Tigers are finally making noise this off-season as they’re expected to sign RHP Jeremy Beasley, INF Sheldon Neuse, RHP Brian Keller, and OF Johan Mieses.

Neuse was sent outright to Triple-A Las Vegas back in September and decided to elect free agency at the end of the season.
This past season, the twenty-seven-year-old slashed .214/.273/.288, with four home runs, 26 RBIs, six stolen bases and 25 runs scored over 89 games played with the Athletics.
A former second-round pick by the Washington Nationals in the 2016 MLB Draft, Neuse has slashed a career .212/.262/.296, with seven home runs, 37 RBIs, seven stolen bases and 34 runs scored over 147 games, spent with the Athletics and Los Angeles Dodgers.
