Astros Third Baseman Suffered Broken Finger In Game 6
It's a good thing the Houston Astros won the World Series in Game 6.
Astros third baseman Alex Bregman suffered a broken left index finger during Game 6 of the World Series against the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday.

Bregman suffered the injury while sliding into second base in the eighth inning Saturday, but he was able to remain in the game as the Astros secured a 4-1 victory to win the World Series for the second time in the last six years.
The twenty-eight-year-old probably will not require surgery but faces an approximate recovery timeline of eight weeks. Regardless, the star third baseman will be ready for 2023 spring training.
In 13 games this postseason, Bregman slashed a strong .294/.379/.569, with three home runs, 11 RBIs, one stolen base and seven runs scored.
