Arizona Diamondbacks Outright 3 Players
After clearing waivers, Humberto Castellanos and Tyler Zuber have been outrighted by the Arizona Diamondbacks. Buddy Kennedy has been outrighted as well.
Castellanos appeared in 11 games for the Diamondbacks this season, where he had a 3-2 record to go along with a 5.68 ERA. Overall, it was a very rough season for him, so it wasn't too surprising to see him removed from Arizona's 40-man roster. However, the new year offers a clean slate, and he will be aiming to impress at Spring Training in hopes of making the team in 2023.
Zuber did not make an appearance for the Diamondbacks this season. In 54 career MLB games, all with the Kansas City Royals, the 5-foot-11 righty has a 1-5 record and a 5.29 ERA. Due to his limited experience, he does not have the option to elect free agency.
Kennedy played in his first 30 MLB games this season, where he had one home run, 12 RBIs, and a .217 batting average. Overall, it was not too bad of a start for the infielder, but he will be hoping to make a bigger impact in 2023 from here.
