Yes, Aaron Judge is from Linden, CA, just outside of San Francisco. He has family there, so finding him in the city shouldn't be a total shock. And yet, his arrival in The Bay Area Monday evening is certainly sending waves through the baseball world.

"Aaron Judge—what are you doing in San Francisco?" asked the reporter for MLB Network. "I'm just visiting some family and friends. That's about it. That's about it," Judge answered with a mischievous laugh.
It's well known that the San Francisco Giants are going to make a big push to land baseball's No. 1 free agent, and according to Mark Feinsand of mlb.com, he is expected to meet with the Giants tomorrow. His hometown team said earlier this month that they'll stop at nothing to try and land the new American League single-season home run king.

Giants president of baseball operations Farhan Zaidi said at the GM Meetings that "no free agent would be 'out of our capability' from a financial standpoint."
For their part, the New York Yankees have had conversations, and made a new offer. They still feel confident in their ability to retain Judge.
