Yankees Will Have Key Reliever Back in ALCS if They Advance
The New York Yankees will get a valuable pitcher back if they can advance to the ALCS.
Ron Marinaccio is expected to be activated for the ALCS if the Yankees advance.
Ron Marinaccio has tossed from a bullpen mound and will travel to Tampa to begin his live batting practice sessions. Marinaccio is expected to be activated for a potential ALCS.

Marinaccio has been a big part of the Yankees bullpen this season, posting a 2.05 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and 56 strikeouts over 44 innings in 40 appearances.
He's been on the injured list since the start of October because of a stress reaction in his right shin. If active, Marinaccio should get a chance to operate in the middle-to-late innings against the Houston Astros or Seattle Mariners.
That all depends on if the Yankees can win three games against the Cleveland Guardians. The series is currently tied 1-1, heading back to Cleveland.
