Yankees Reliever Available Monday Despite Pitching in Three Consecutive Games
He pitched for the third consecutive game on Sunday.
New York Yankees pitcher Wandy Peralta told reporters on Sunday night that his arm feels great and that he'll be available out of the Yankees bullpen for their critical Game 5 of the ALDS against the Cleveland Guardians on Monday night.

Peralta pitched for the third consecutive game on Sunday, retiring the Guardians in order to protect a two-run lead in the ninth inning. He only needed seven pitches to retire the side, so expect to see him once more in a critical late-game matchup on Monday.Wandy Peralta said he knew he’d be available to pitch a third straight day today from the moment he woke up. “We’re gonna go win tomorrow,” Peralta said through an interpreter.
The only member of the Yankees staff that will likely be unavailable is Gerrit Cole, after throwing 110 pitches in his start on Sunday.
Peralta posted a strong 2.72 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, four saves, and 47 strikeouts over 56 innings of work this season.
