Yankees Place Pitcher on Injured List; Will Miss ALDS
Another big blow to the New York Yankees' bullpen.
The Yankees have placed pitcher Ron Marinaccio on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to October 3, with a right shin stress reaction.

Marinaccio will miss the ALDS series but Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that the hope is that Marinaccio could be available for a potential American League Championship Series later this month.
The twenty-seven-year-old right-handed pitcher finishes the 2022 regular season with a fantastic 2.05 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and 56 strikeouts over 44 innings of work. He made 40 relief appearances and held a 1-0 record.
The Yankees can't seem to catch a break with the injury bug to their pitchers.
