Twins Pitcher Fully Healthy for 2023 Season
He missed the entire 2022 season.
Minnesota Twins President of Baseball Operations Derek Falvey said last week that Jorge Alcala will be fully healthy entering spring training.
While at Target Field this afternoon, #MNTwins reliever Jorge Alcala (elbow) was throwing in the outfield. Somewhat forgotten among all their injured players, but he's doing very well, will be plenty fine by spring training. BTW, beautiful day to get some work in on the field.

Alcala missed the entire 2022 season due to right elbow inflammation that eventually led to season-ending debridement surgery in August.
The twenty-seven-year-old has posted a career 3.39 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, and 91 strikeouts over 87.2 innings of work across four seasons.
Alcala should factor into the Twins' late-inning bullpen mix.
