In Triple-A Toledo this past season, Del Pozo posted a decent 3.88 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and 66 strikeouts over 53.1 innings of work. He made 55 appearances, converted seven saves, and held a 5-2 record.
The thirty-year-old has played for the Los Angeles Angels, Pittsburgh Pirates and Tigers during his three-year major league career, compiling an ugly 9.82 ERA, 2.35 WHIP, and 17 strikeouts across 18.1 innings.
