Tigers Call Up Starter for Final Week of Season
He will be recalled from Triple-A Toledo to start against the Seattle Mariners on Monday.

This was the plan communicated to Wentz as they mapped out the rotation in the final weeks of the season. He now heads to the Arizona Fall League while his teammates go to Seattle.
The twenty-seven-year-old has already made three starts for the Tigers this season, posting a 3.29 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, and 11 strikeouts across 13.2 innings.
In the minors this season, the twenty-seven-year-old has registered a 3.80 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and 69 strikeouts over 85 innings of work. He's made 11 starts, 28 relief appearances, and posted a 5-3 record.
