Royals Place Pitcher on Injured List

His season is over. 

The Kansas City Royals have placed pitcher Taylor Clarke on the 15-day injured list with a right oblique strain.

Clarke just returned from an oblique strain at the end of September and is now, obviously, done for the year as he heads back to the injured list. 

The twenty-nine-year-old finishes his season with a pedestrian 4.04 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and 48 strikeouts over 49 innings. In 47 relief appearances, Clarke converted three saves and held a 3-1 record. 

Collin Snider has been recalled from Triple-A Omaha in a corresponding move.
