Reds Designate Pitcher for Assignment

That's a nice welcome back.

The Cincinnati Reds have activated pitcher Robert Dugger from the 15-day injured list and designated him for assignment.
Dugger landed on the injured list back in early August with a right shoulder injury after allowing 11 runs over 16 innings this season, split between the Tampa Bay Rays and Reds.

Overall, Dugger has posted a 6.19 ERA, 1.63 WHIP, and 19 strikeouts over 16 innings in the majors this season. He's made one start and three relief appearances,

In the minors this season, the twenty-seven-year-old has registered a 4.48 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, and 52 strikeouts over 66 innings of work. In 19 appearances, he's made 12 starts and holds a 2-3 record.

Dugger will likely elect free agency and look to sell his services elsewhere for the 2023 season.
