Phillies Announce Wild Card Roster; Plenty of Starters Available
The Philadelphia Phillies have announced their roster for the Wild Card Series, ahead of Game 1 against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Brad Hand and Edmundo Sosa were activated from the IL today in order to be added to the roster.
The pitching staff features four left-handers, three out of the bullpen. Noah Syndergaard, Bailey Falter and Kyle Gibson, who were all part of the rotation this year, will be able to add a lot of bulk innings out of the bullpen if necessary, as they will not be getting a start.
