Aaron Judge cranked his record 62nd home run, to pass former Yankee great Roger Maris for the AL home run record. A solo HR, deep to left, in the first inning in Texas, is the record-breaking blast.

Judge had tied Maris last week in Toronto and needed five more games to hit the record-breaker, in the Yankees' penultimate game of the season.

The person in possession of the baseball has been guided by security to a location in the stadium where the ball is being authenticated and officially dedicated.@MLB @MLBNetwork
The ball is expected to be worth at least $2M, according to some reports.
