Injury Update on Phillies Reliever
He last pitched on October 7 against the St. Louis Cardinals, hurling a scoreless inning.
David Robertson has been out since Game 2 of the NL Wild Card Series against the Cardinals after he suffered a right calf strain while celebrating Bryce Harper's home run.
He was left off the Phillies' active roster for the best-of-five NLDS versus the reigning World Series champions Atlanta Braves.
No decision yet on David Robertson’s availability for the NLCS. He’s testing his strained calf by throwing a bullpen and going through pitcher fielding drills. Rob Thomson said the pace of Robertson’s recovery has been “miraculous.”

Robertson has begun throwing off a mound and doing bullpen sessions this week, and the hope is that the veteran reliever can be an option again for the Phillies best-of-seven NLCS matchup with the Padres, set to begin on Tuesday night.
Robertson posted a strong 2.40 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, and 81 strikeouts over 63.2 innings of work this season.
