Dodgers Place Starter on Injured List
The Los Angeles Dodgers are losing a starter.
The Dodgers have placed starter Michael Grove on the 15-day injured list with a left knee contusion.

Grove's regular season will be over as he's dealing with a left knee contusion.
In his last start, on October 1 against the Colorado Rockies, Grove allowed four runs, six hits and two walks while striking out three.
The twenty-five-year-old posted a 4.60 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, and 24 strikeouts over 29 innings this season in his major league debut. He started six games and had a 1-0 record.

In the minors this season, Grove had a 3.79 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 90 strikeouts across 76 innings of work. In 17 starts, he posted a 1-5 record. We may see him back at some point in the postseason.
