Lawlar was the sixth overall pick of the 2021 MLB Draft by the Diamondbacks.
This past season, spread across several different levels in the D-Backs system, Lawlar slashed .303/.401/.509, with 16 home runs, 62 RBIs, 39 stolen bases and 98 runs scored across 100 games.
