Zuber was placed on the 60-day injured list (right shoulder impingement syndrome) on March 16.
The 40-man roster remains at 40.
Zuber posted an underwhelming 5.29 ERA, 1.58 WHIP, and a 55/37 K/BB ratio over 49 innings of work with the Royals over two seasons.
The twenty-seven-year-old held a 2.83 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, and 43 strikeouts over 28.2 innings of work in the minors during the 2021 season. He converted eight saves and held a 1-3 record.
Zuber missed all of the 2022 season due to a shoulder injury. He'll compete for a spot in the Diamondbacks bullpen next spring.
