Cleveland Guardians Activate 2 Pitchers
The Cleveland Guardians have activated Aaron Civale and Cody Morris as they prepare for their ALDS series against the New York Yankees.
Civale did not play in the Wild Card for the Guardians, but he will now be aiming to make an impact against the heavily favored Yankees. Civale appeared in 20 games this season for the Guardians, where he had a 5-6 record to go along with a 4.92 ERA.
Morris, on the other hand, made seven appearances for the Guardians this season, sporting a 1-2 record to go along with a 3.04 ERA. With that, he had a 2.35 ERA in six games for Triple-A Columbus. Overall, he has been dependable when called upon, and now he will be aiming to translate that over to the playoffs.
