Cincinnati Reds Pitcher to Miss 2023 Season

According to Bob Nightengale, Cincinnati Reds pitcher Art Warren is expected to miss all of the 2023 season.

Warren had elbow surgery that ended his 2022 season early. There was optimism that he would not have to miss all of next season, but it appears things have changed on that front.

After an excellent 2021 season that saw him sport a 1.29 ERA in 26 appearances, Warren noticeably struggled in 2022. In 39 games, he had a 2-3 record to go along with a rather high 6.50 ERA. Clearly, his elbow was giving him trouble this campaign, so once he is fully healthy, we will have to wait and see how he performs in 2024.
