RHP J.C. Mejía has been signed to a Minor League contract for 2023, which includes an invitation to Major League Spring Training. Mejia spent much of 2022 serving a PED suspension.
As previously mentioned, Mejia spent much of the past season serving a PED suspension and surrendered six earned runs in just 2.1 innings of work when active.
The twenty-six-year-old pitcher will look to compete for a spot in the Brewers bullpen next spring.
The signing by the Brewers is the first move of the Matt Arnold era after he succeeded David Stearns as the president of baseball operations in the Brewers' front office on Thursday.
