The Brewers are bringing back infielder-turned-righty reliever Lucas Erceg on a Minor League contract that includes an invitation to Major League camp. Now 27, Erceg is coming off his first season as a full-time pitcher.

Erceg spent the first six years of his professional career in the Brewers' system as a third baseman before converting to pitching full-time during the 2022 season.
The twenty-seven-year-old right-handed pitcher registered a pedestrian 4.55 ERA, 1.65 WHIP, and 69 strikeouts over 61.1 innings, making four starts and 45 relief appearances. His command is something that he'll need to work on, as Erceg walked 37 batters over the 61.1 innings of work.
He split time last season between Double-A Biloxi and Triple-A Nashville.
